A card is thought of, three numbers are chosen by the audience, and that number is revealed. It’s not just the card the audience is thinking of—it’s also the only red card in a blue deck. Here’s what happens:

The magician shuffles their deck and explains that they won’t have someone pick a card, but simply think of one. The magician shows his audience cards from the deck until they freely think of a card they’re shown. The magician shuffles the deck again and then asks them three questions. What month were they born in? How many letters are in their name? What is the value of the card they’re thinking of? Whatever they answer, that number of cards is dealt, and the card they’re thinking of is right there in that position. As a kicker, the card they were thinking of is the only red card in an entirely blue deck.
