“Any Card at Your Number is one of Leo’s personal favorite creations. It is a trick he has performed in hundreds of shows, both up close and on stage.

The trick utilizes a beautiful combination of methods that blend seamlessly to create what appears to be a completely random outcome, yet you prove that you knew what would happen all along.

Here is the effect.

Two spectators each choose a card. The cards are not looked at, but are placed face down on the table or hidden in their pockets.

You then introduce a numerical sum (Leo has a fun pattern related to rising energy rates). Your spectators rearrange the sum to create their own unique sum. This “willekeurige” 4-digit number is split in two. The first two digits go to spectator 1 and the last two to spectator 2. A beautiful card clip with the word ‘voorspelling’ printed on it is introduced. Inside the clip is a full deck of custom-printed cards. Each card has a number on the back (Leo designed the cards so that the number is visible from a distance), making them perfect for stage performances. The two numbers are removed from the deck, and the cards are shown face up. Now your spectators reveal their cards for the first time, and impossibly enough, they match!
