Apparition is an amazing coin set by Craig Petty.

Roy Kueppers crafted this set to Craig’s exact specifications, and the coins are beautiful! You also receive a custom-made, gimmicked coin purse, giving you a seriously visual piece of magic that you can perform right in your audience’s hands!

We took Apparition to the Blackpool convention and we completely sold out! What routine did we perform at the convention?

The guys at the booth performed Peter’s multi-phase routine. It’s fast, visual, and full of magical moments.

What happens in the routine? Phase One

: Both the Chinese coin and the dollar coin are examined. The dollar coin is placed on the table while the Chinese coin is held in your fist. You now wave the bag over the dollar coin, and it immediately switches places with the Chinese coin! You really have to see the reactions this elicits… People are amazed!

Phase Two

You say you’re going to make it easier for them to follow, so you put the Chinese coin in your pocket. Now they just have to keep an eye on the dollar coin. You take the dollar coin, which vanishes right before their eyes, only to reappear under the bag! You do this again, but this time you put it in your pocket and it reappears under the bag! Now they clearly see the dollar coin lying on the table; your hands are empty. You grab the bag and wave it over the dollar coin, and it instantly turns into the Chinese coin! With an empty hand, you pull the dollar coin out of your pocket.

Phase three:

You place the Chinese coin in your spectator’s closed fist and place the dollar coin on the back of their hand. With just a wave of the pouch, the dollar and the Chinese coin immediately switch places!!

This is truly a powerful routine with so many amazing magical moments, and the best part is that it’s super easy to perform. The entire choreography ensures that the coins are examined before, during, and after, and Craig has left out almost every sleight!
