Forgetful Geek: a magical comedy with a fresh twist!

A routine that combines two classics whose comedic potential is well-established: Forgetful Freddy and Hide and Seek with the Moon!

Imagine the combination of both!

The basic routine:

“Dit is mijn geek die het grootste deel van zijn tijd doorbrengt met gamen op zijn console, opgesloten in zijn kamer. Hij is zo geobsedeerd door deze console dat het lijkt alsof hij IN de console zit, alsof hij IN zijn eigen wereld zit, alsof hij zijn verstand verliest!”

As you say these words, “valt” remove your geek’s head!

“Nou, we gaan letterlijk zijn hoofd in de console stoppen om te zien wat er aan de hand is!”

At this moment, open one of the two doors of the console and place the head inside.

“Wanneer hij op zijn console zit, reageert hij nergens meer op, het is alsof hij compleet verdwenen is.”

Then you open the console door and the head has vanished! Of course, the audience will point out that you’ve tilted the console and that the head is on the other side, behind the other door! Then a comedy ensues: you open the other door and, of course, the head isn’t there! The audience will point out again that you’ve flipped the console over and that the head is now hidden behind the other door! You continue this little game until you decide to open both doors and realize that the head has vanished!

“Dit is wat er gebeurt als je te veel speelt, je verliest je verstand! Herinner je je toen er geen internet of wifi was en we een hele dag met alles konden spelen, zoals een stift of een ballon!”

Then you pull a marker and a balloon out of your pocket or case and blow it up.

You start drawing a face on your balloon: first the eyes, the nose, the mouth, the ears, the hair, and then you get an idea: you draw a pair of glasses and voilà, a new head for our geek!

You then place the balloon where the missing head used to be, and presto, our geek now looks funny!

After a few moments, the balloon pops on its own, and the geek’s head appears to the delight of your audience!
