Illuminate made its debut at the Blackpool Magic Convention 2024.

The “Lights from Fingertips” has been a beloved magic effect for years, enjoyed by many magicians.

With the new Illuminate, you don’t just catch the light with your fingertips; it now pulses and breathes like a firefly ✨

Illuminate has been in development since late 2022 by Joseph Lee and Zio. Prior to that, we had already helped many magicians enhance their stage acts with seamless lighting effects and smooth transitions.

The most time-consuming part of the development process was miniaturizing the electronic components and precisely adjusting the speed at which the light gradually brightens and dims again.

More than 10 prototype variants were created to refine the timing to perfection.

All these efforts were aimed at making the performance more intuitive and better optimized.

Illuminate is available in three versions:

Version 1 – Gradually brightens then instantly goes dark
The controls are intuitive and retain the familiar operation of traditional TT Lights. When you activate the Gimmick, the light gradually gets brighter. As soon as you release it, the light goes out immediately.

Version 2 – Instantly brightens then gradually fades
The light appears immediately when you activate the Gimmick. When you release it, the light then gradually dims.

Version 3 (Most versatile) – Gradually brightens and dims, able to pick it up at any time
Version 3 introduces a unique feature: a segmented switch that allows you to gradually make the light brighter or dimmer. You can activate the light, after which the Gimmick can be released from your hand. The light will then continue to burn without you having to hold the Gimmick continuously. By pressing again, the light gradually fades out.
