Take out a deck of cards. You can show them to your audience, and they can shuffle them. A card is chosen at random and can be signed. Once the card is signed, you take out a small light. You rub the light over your arm and explain that you’re charging it. Then you screw the same light into the card box.

The deck is placed face down on the table, next to the box. At this point, no one knows where the card is in the deck. You show your empty hands. You bring the cards one by one toward the light. They now touch the light one by one, and suddenly one card makes the light turn on!

The light bulb only lights up with this one card! This card, of course, turns out to be the signed card! You can let the audience inspect everything!

• Resets immediately, no preparation
• Both your hand and the card case are empty
