The legends that are Paul Harris and Tayari Casel published a series of dictations in 1979, and among them was a fantastic coin routine called ‘Twilight’. Here is the introduction:

Fewer and fewer people are familiar with this routine 40 years later. It has gradually become the treasure of a select few coin magic enthusiasts. However, once you’ve seen it, you’ll surely agree with the high regard this routine has earned.

Over the past 40 years, Twilight has also evolved through many versions, and just a few months ago we were fortunate enough to come across the version that is by far the most elegant and poetic: “The Moon.”

The Japanese underground magician, Kiyoshi Satoh (佐藤 喜 義), is now well known among magic enthusiasts in China. We recently published his magic card book ‘No Man Land’ so that our Chinese friends can appreciate the beauty of Mr. Satoh’s deck tricks.

‘The Moon’ is a lesser-known yet cherished routine by Mr. Satoh. It is a new interpretation of ‘Twilight’. Based on the original effect, Mr. Satoh changed the way the entire routine is handled, making you completely unaware of the existence of sleights, and has perfected the entire illusion.
