The effect:

You place a watch on the table with the face down, then ask a random spectator to name a random time. Without touching the watch, the spectator flips it over, and the named time is displayed on the watch.

The “TimeSmith Watch” is a product by András Bártházi
. It is an elegant hybrid watch developed for TimeSmith (an app included with this watch). You can choose from various designs

What can you do with the TimeSmith Watch?

You can simply check the time on your watch. This is, after all, a perfectly ordinary watch, but as soon as you want to perform a trick with it, it becomes your most powerful gimmick ever!

The TimeSmith Watch is designed specifically for “TimeSmith”, a magic app developed by Benke Smith for Android and iOS. The app is intended to control Bluetooth hybrid watches. Usually by moving the hour and minute hands to display a time, but you can do so much more with it! You can also set the watch in advance with a pre-configured (force) timestamp. This allows you to easily force a specific time for your audience. The TimeSmith Watch is designed for this app because they communicate with each other via Bluetooth.

This way, TimeSmith knows when you press the watch’s button, allowing for really cool and clean forces. But it also helps with practical things like checking battery power through the app. The magic routines and possibilities continue to evolve every day. The creators of this product are very focused on their community. Through their own Facebook community, ideas are exchanged daily, and the developers ensure these are refined or brought to life. This has already made revolutionary methods possible!

You can pair the watch with remote controls or enter the time manually.

One of the unique features, for example, is voice recognition. With this, the watch automatically recognizes the time called out by the spectator.

If you don’t like this feature, you can always control the watch with a remote control or simply enter the time manually (handy for an assistant).

Quality comes first

The watch is made of stainless steel. The dial is covered by tempered mineral glass. The glass is scratch-resistant and can take a beating. (We conducted a test by gently tapping the glass with a hammer, and we also dropped the watch multiple times—the watch survived it all!). The watch strap is made of genuine leather, black on the outside and light brown on the inside. The watches are 3ATM water-resistant. The watch crown is a push-button type, so you cannot pull it out and turn it.

Size & Weight

The watch face has an inner diameter of 36mm and an outer diameter of 42mm; the watch is 11mm thick. (For detailed dimensions, please refer to the product images.) You can easily replace the watch strap with your own standard 20mm strap. The TimeSmith Watch weighs approximately 50 grams.
