You place a simple paper envelope on the table containing small metal tokens. You now introduce five ESP cards, which you shuffle openly. The deck is handed to a spectator, who is asked to turn the cards over and choose one they like. The selected card is set aside, or placed in the spectator’s pocket. No one—not even the spectator—knows which symbol has been selected.
The token is now removed from the envelope—an ESP symbol is boldly printed on one side. The spectator removes their card to reveal—exactly the same symbol!
