You show four Jokers and give one to each spectator. Everyone is allowed to place a Joker between their two hands.

Then you make a gesture and tell them that you are going to make three Jokers disappear and that you will make them come together with the fourth Joker. All spectators who were holding a Joker are allowed to open their hands, but all the cards are still lying on the spectators’ hands. Then you say: “Ik had het over de Jokers, niet over de kaarten!”. Three spectators are allowed to turn over their cards one by one, and the Jokers have vanished without a trace. The fourth spectator now turns over the last card, and all four Jokers are now on it!

Everything can be checked, and the spectator will discover nothing.
