Everything in this beautiful routine is perfectly thought out.

Eight Queens of Hearts are placed in two rows of four. An 8 of Clubs is placed between the two rows. A small magical movement causes all the Queens of Hearts to turn into the 8 of Clubs, and now a Queen of Hearts lies in between!

Normally, after this step, magicians take the cards back, put them back in the box, and move on to something else. But here’s the icing on the cake, which will amaze your fellow magicians and audience even more: you can hand the cards right back to the audience since they’re just ordinary playing cards!
