The Invisible Deck Kicker is a really cool routine. It comes across as a joke, but it’s so much more than that.
Actually, it’s a “52 op 1” card, but version 2.0… or actually, make that 10.0! Because this is so cool!
A spectator gets to name a random card. But before they do, you place 1 card on their hand. Then they name the card, and you ask if it wouldn’t be amazing if the card they just named were on their hand!?
Of course they say yes, and you quickly calculate the odds. When the card is turned over, it turns out to be a 52-to-1 card. Good for a laugh.
Then you say it’s a joke, but that you actually could do it. In fact, you say you’ve already done it.
Ask for the card again and tell them the card is now face up.
But not in the deck, like an invisible deck, but on the 52-to-1 card they just looked at. They look at the card again, and now the card in question is indeed face up! We’ve been performing Asi Wind’s Gypsy Queen routine for years. However, that routine has a few drawbacks. Fortunately, this routine doesn’t. (difficult to read)
