After years of using existing props, award-winning magician and designer Carisa Hendrix decided to reinvent the effect for a modern audience. The result is the Nova Ring, the most visual, practical, and beautifully designed version of the Connecting Rings ever created.

Three rings are borrowed from your audience. One by one, you connect them together. Then, with a simple gesture, a ring breaks free and can be returned immediately. For the finale, the last ring visibly breaks away from another, right into your spectator’s open hand. It looks like real magic.

All of this is made possible by the new Nova Ring prop. Based on Pete Biro’s legendary “Ghostly Finger Rings” and used with permission from the Joe Porper estate, Nova Ring replaces bulky signet-style rings with sleek, everyday designs modeled after modern metal and fitness rings. They look completely ordinary and are indistinguishable from the rings your audience wears.

The set includes three prepared rings (in black, gold, and silver) and three matching unprepared rings, all crafted to withstand years of performance. Everything fits perfectly in the included custom box, which not only protects the rings but also serves as a secret prop during the performance.
