Do you remember the pencil-bending illusion we all did in school? You pull out two Sharpies and give one to your spectator, who gets to mimic you. You start by waving the Sharpie in your hand, creating the optical illusion that it’s bending as if it were made of rubber. You ask the spectator to join in and do the same. While you’re both enjoying it, you slow down, and somehow you end up with a Sharpie that’s actually bent! It’s a real Sharpie, and it can write, too! Use this quick little trick as an icebreaker, and then use the bent Sharpie to sign their cards for your next effect!
