You invite your spectator to participate in a seemingly simple game of chance. He or she slips a finger into the rubber band and thinks they have a 50/50 chance of winning. If the participant wins, the rubber band tightens and forms a firm loop around the finger. If he or she loses, the rubber band slips loose.

But here’s the secret…
